Meeting a few yeas ago, Jenevieve and Kathleen Andersen instantly admired the others work. Both relating in color palette and depiction of landscape, the artists soon brought about the idea of showing together.
Reflections and Shadows, titled for the subtleties that unite their work, shows off glass pieces by Kathleen and paintings by both artists. The main gallery features a collaborative painting of clouds which is the starting point of the exhibition. The gallery walls are filled with landscapes, dreamscapes and cityscape paintings; while Kathleen's glass sculptures also help guide the viewer through the room. Join us Saturday May 11th in Beacon, NY for the opening reception of Reflections & Shadows at Hudson Beach Glass.
